Hi, my name is Danielle and I am an Accredited Play Therapist. I work within Staffordshire and the West Midlands offering individual and group play therapy to children and young people who are struggling with their emotional well being. I take referrals from schools, social workers, GP's, parents etc.
I am a full member of Play Therapy UK, (PTUK). I am also on the Register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists, which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. and I follow PTUK ethical guidelines and clinical governance at all times. I have regular monthly clinical supervision and I hold a current enhanced DBS.
I have worked with children and young people for over 20 years. My first role was in a private mental health hospital supporting young people with eating disorders. Following on from this I worked in mainstream and disability residential settings, which has enabled me to meet many children and young people and gaining invaluable life experiences. I qualified as a Play Therapist in 2012 and this became my main working role in February 2016.
